Why Recycle? HIRAGANA ONLY VERSION
Some poor, hard-plastic containers are thrown into the wrong bin with very sad consequences. But what if they had have been thrown into the recycle bin instead? This story shows how plastic can be put to great use if we simply put it in the correct bin.

With free access to bilingual and Japanese-only audiobooks and hiragana chart bookmark, this picture book has been written for primary aged beginners of Japanese, (ideally Year 3 to 4 or late entry Year 7 to 8 strand of the Australian Curriculum).
Each colourful page is presented in hiragana only until the end of the story. Once the story is complete, there are easily identifiable white pages with the English meaning, clearly linked to the matching kanji page number, so that children are able to refer to this page when they are unsure of meaning as they go.
