Monster's Tokyo Presentation: BILINGUAL VERSION
The Monsters have returned from an exciting trip to Tokyo.
They have prepared a presentation for their class to show all the experiences they had and all the food they ate. If you went to Tokyo, what would you like to do?
This book uses the traditional style of vertical script. Readers will learn to read vertically in columns from top to bottom and from right to left. Readers will also see kanji and furigana used in whole sentences without spaces between words.
Teacher Note:
This story provides a rough scaffold for a presentation. Students could be asked to similarly research an area of interest in Japan and create a multimedia presentation about their own real or imagined trip.
